Interested in Advertising?

Honeywell PTFA is pleased to offer opportunities for local businesses including:

Event sponsorship

Events, such as Cinema Night, Quiz Night, Summer Fete, Christmas Bazaar – to name but a few) can be sponsored. In return for financial support for the event, Honeywell PTFA will display your corporate banner and include your name and logo on all marketing material.

Advertisements in Sting and on the PTFA website

Sting is a regular PTFA publication produced voluntarily by a small group of Honeywell parents with contributions and help from the children, staff and other parents. Lineage and display adverts as well as advertorials are available for a small fee.

The PTFA website has been recently introduced and is expected to grow organically as both content and popularity increases. Advertising opportunities are available, artwork must be supplied.

Retail stalls at events

The PTFA hosts regular events at school including Summer Fete, Festive Shopping Evening and Christmas Bazaar. Retail stalls are available at a flat fee of £25 for the space plus 10% of takings at the event.

Donations

Donations are always welcome for our raffles (organised at the Summer Fete and the Christmas Bazaar) and our bi-annual promises auction. All contributors are listed in the programme and in advance publicity.

The funds that are raised by the PTFA are spent on both the head teachers’ requirements and on suggestions from parents.  Every request from the heads is raised at a PTFA meeting. In 2008/09 the money raised went towards funding a brand new ICT suite for the Infant School and to provide carpets for every classroom in the Junior School.

Organic Fruit and Veg in the Playground!

What could be easier than picking up your organic fruit and veg from school at the same time as your children?  It also raises funds for the school whilst buying organic food at a very reasonable price.

Farmer’s Choice, the non-profit scheme run by Abel and Cole, delivers fruit, vegetable and combination bags to the school once a week.  25% of sales goes to the PTFA.  Last year the scheme raised just under £1,500.

How Does it Work?

You email or text your order to Patricia patriciamorse1@hotmail.com or 07979 603434 by Thursday night and pick up your bags in the Infants Playground at 3.15-3.30 the following Tuesday.  It’s as simple as that. You can order on an ad hoc basis, varying your order as you please and having a bag when you want, missing a week other times.  You can also order for the whole half or entire term if you know you would like a regular bag weekly.

How much Does it Cost?

Vegetable Bag (5 different types of vegetable):                      £5

Fruit Bag  (4 different types of fruit):                                  £6.50

Combi Bag  (2 different types of fruit and 3 veg)                    £7
